HOLINESS

Welcome to KRISTIN STILWELL'S BLOG SPOT! This is really "high tech" huh? :) I figured this would be a great way for me to keep in touch with everyone while I’m serving the Lord in Australia. I will be using this blog spot to post what's going on in my life and how God is working in and through me in Australia. I am excited to share with you this experience and again, I'm so thankful that you all have chosen to come along side me in prayer and support. I still have a few more months in America before I head back to Australia. I plan on buying my plane ticket to OZ (Australia) December 26, 2006.

After spending the last 5 months in Australia doing my Discipleship Training School I've been challengd in w ays I never thought possible. God has been teaching me heaps of new things and has given me a fresh vision on what it really means to live a life sold out for Him.

God has really instilled in me new spiritual disciplines and has shown me that my calling is much greater than I could ever imagine. As a follower of Christ we all have an amazing responsibility to go out into all the world and spread the GOOD news! It wasn't until after DTS that I realized that being a missionary isn't just a TITLE it's a life calling! This calling is for the ENTIRE BODY OF CHRIST! THIS CALLING IS FOR YOU!

God has challenged me to lay down my life of selfish desires and ambitions and He has promised to lift me back up and use me in great and mighty ways. Because I have decided to commit my everything to following God's lead, this means I must live a life of HOLINESS. But what does holiness really mean?

It means desiring and hungering daily for the bread of life (God's word). It means seizing my divine moment. Which is every moment given to me by God to be an example to all and to encourage and bless others. It means falling in love with the King daily and understanding his never ending love for me! Holiness means leaving what things this world has to offer and clinging to the eternal blessings that come from Christ above!

These next few years are going to be challenging I assure you, but because God promises to never leave or forsake me and to protect me by surrounding me with his angels I can endure all hardships for the sake of Christ! God's word is powerful and he means it when he says, "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them." Psalm 34:7

I know that every trial, every hardship, every struggle I face will continue to build my character and will strengthen my faith and encourage me to face even bigger challenges in the future. With God all things are possible! AMEN!

PLEASE JOIN ME IN THIS CHALLENGE TO BE LIFE CHANGERS. THIS CHALLENGE TO FORGET THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD AND BE EAGER TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT!

Remember it's not what we can do, but what Christ can do in us. Let's be a generation of world changers...a generation who really allows the Spirit of the Lord to reign!!! FIRE FALL DOWN...Lord CONSUME us as we PRAY! Let's be a generation of HOLY WORSHIPERS!

.....Jesus OVERWHELM US, CONSUME US and CHALLENGE US!

lift your hands all you people of the Lord, the chains have fallen and there is FREEDOM! I love you all so very much. I will try and keep this blog updated as much as I can.
