DECEMBER 26, 2006 - AUSTRALIA BOUND
KRISTIN'S AUSTRALIAN CHECK LIST:
*Australian VISA (1 year): CHECK
* overseas medical insurance: CHECK
* one way plane ticket to Australia: CHECK (I officially leave DECEMBER 26, 2006)
* support raised: This is still in God's hands, but let me just tell you that he has faithfully provided so far and is continuing to pour blessings on me as serve Him.
I will always pray for more opportunities (like Paul) to preach at church's and to tell the world about what God is doing and how great he is.....as I serve him may God continue to provide all that I need!
I have a few more months left here in beautiful Ohio! I am truly going to miss everyone. Everytime I tell someone "I'm going to be serving God in Australia for 2 years..." it gets harder and harder to spit the words out. It's not because I'm unsure this is where I am to be, but it's because I have to leave you all for 2 years! Just promise me one thing, Please, please, please, keep in touch and I will do the same, you have my word.
Does anyone need a car? I am selling my car for $3500, it's a beautiful 1999 Monte Carlo!
My father and I are the only owners of it and it's in great condition. If anyone is interested in it..please give me a call at: 330 274 0694.
***just to keep you updated, monday night bible study with my house group went so well. God's consuming fire swept us all off our feet and ignited passion into our hearts. We took the time to just bow before him in silence, to take a pen and paper and write verses and anything that came to our mind about who God is to us, we did prophetic/worshipful art...which is when you listen to the spirit and just medatate on God and as you are filled with revelation you draw it out or write what you hear from God. It's an incredible exercise.
After this, we took the time to PRAISE GOD through our prayers and thank Him for who he is and what he's done for us. It was a night of really HEARING GOD!
Then on Saturday Brian kept me company as I drove to my aunt's house in Orrville, Ohio. Brian played the mandolin in the passanger seat of my car!! It was so FUN! The reason i went to my Aunt's house was to speak to her youth group and encourage them to be missionaries in their schools and to live for God every day of their lives.
I was encouraged as well this weekend: This is what I was made to do, to encourage people in their walk with God! What a beautiful weekend it was!! I am stoked that God has given me these opportunities and I will pray for more.
