I'm really excited for the ministry opportunities I am about to have this next week. On Monday I will be leading house group at the Lax's home. There have been heaps of students showing up and I reckon this is a great "problem" to have. I desire to see each and every one of them come to know the power of Jesus in their lives individually and to understand what it means to have PASSION for Jesus. I believe it's only possible to develop passion for something, when you really know that person or that thing to the point where all your HEAD KNOWLEDGE seeps deep into your heart and becomes HEART KNOWLEDGE! That's passion and TRUE WORSHIP comes from that. :)
Then on Sunday the 15th I will be going down to Orville, Ohio to speak about missions at my Aunt's church. She is a youth group leader and teachs bible study on Sunday morning. She has asked me to come down and encourage these young people to really step out in faith and let God use them in mighty ways. I am so stoked on this! I would love if you all could pray for me and I will keep you up to date with everything.

**This weekend was so much FUN! It's always nice to get out of the ROUTINE that life has to offer us sometimes. On Friday night I was asked by my friend Brian Payne if i wanted to go to dinner at this place called "FIRE". It's a cute little restaraunt in Shaker Hieghts (an area that i'm not so familiar with). None the less, it was very qaint and the food was AMAZING! I would have to say that company was down right awesome too! :) Since Brian used to work in the same resaraunt in Aspen, Colorado as the chef at this place (fire). Brian was told to meet him and to say "Hi" for his old boss. So, the chef ended up coming out and we got to meet this nice guy. It was really a pleasure, because this chef is one of the best! Bri and I (hey that rhymes) went back to his place and he told me he had a present for me. Me, being a dork and all asked him iif the gift was "a petrafied booger, from a dinosaur or something". He laughed and said it was better than that. WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT, is what I was thinking, HAHA! But, he went to the kitchen and came back with an awesome gift from a guy named Aron Ralston.
Aron Ralston is well known as the man who cut his own arm off, when his arm got trapped by a bolder while hiking by himself in a canyon in Utah. Ever since I saw Aron's testimony about how he was trapped for 5 days and he managed to cut his arm off and LIVE, I was just impressed by his perseverence and I really wanted to meet him. I was really curious as to what he thought about God and if he has made the life choice to walk in the the Lord's love!
One of the first times I hung out with Brian i found out that Bri was Aron's roomate for like 3 years! Brian had a lot of great things to say about Aron. I was really excited to finally get to hear about this man and what he believe in.
Brian, knowing that I really found Aron's stroy to be unique and thrilling, talked to Aron about me and Aron decided that he wanted to send me a personally signed book (between a rock and a hard place) and a signed tape set (where Aron reads the book outloud) and Aron wrote me a personal letter!
He didn't have to do this, and i'm sure he's a busy guy, but what a sweet heart. It was a great gift, something I would have never expected and I thank both Brian and Aron for it. I will be writting Aron back soon to thank him!
So, after that Brian and I decided to WORSHIP! Since God has given Brian musical talent, he played guitar for us. Brian is currently learning to play the mandolin as well. There is just something amazing about uninhibited worship! PURE WORSHIP! To be able to give your all for the king in reverence and awe of everything He is! What a great end, to a wonderful night. **Thanks Brian!**

OK, it's time for church. hope you guys are having a great day. That's just a little update on the life of Kristin. More is to come.
p.s. The only thing left to do before I leave for Australia is sell my car and buy my plane ticket. Thank you all for your love and support.
verse for the week:
Psalm 91 "he who dwells in the shelter of the Most high will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress my God, in whom I TRUST."
